It is a requirement of the Office of the Technical Regulator (OTR) that all properties connected to recycled water have a cross connection audit performed prior to the new owners occupying the property.
A request from the conveyancer is required at least 14 days prior to settlement to arrange a cross connection audit and a final meter reading. GMB Water's plumbing contractor will then contact the vendor to arrange a suitable time.
Access to inside and outside the property is required during the cross connection audit.
An invoice will be sent to the conveyancer to include in the settlement.
