Notice of works: temporary footpath closure behind Homemaker Centre

From Monday, 23 March 2026, a temporary footpath closure will be in place behind the Homemaker Centre between the railway underpass and Rival Brothers Café to enable rectification works as part of the CBD Sewer Trunk Main project. A detour will be in place to guide pedestrians safely around the work zone, as illustrated in the map. Please follow all signage and take care when moving through the area.

These works are expected to take approximately two days, subject to favourable weather and ground conditions.
