What’s Happening?
Survey & service location works
Starting Monday, 27 October 2025, crews will carry out survey and service location activities over approximately three (3) days during day shifts. These works will inform the installation of the extended sewer pipe.
Pipe installation
From Monday, 3 November 2025, installation begins using a mix of open trenching and underboring/pipe pull construction. For safety, this stage will occur during night shifts (7pm–5am, Sunday to Thursday) when traffic volumes are lower. Expected duration: four (4) weeks.
Traffic management
Half-lane closures will be in place on both Railway Terrace and Wellington Road. Temporary footpath diversions, reduced speed limits, and onsite traffic controllers will help keep everyone safe.
