Notice of works: early morning works at Laratinga Wastewater Recovery Plant

Upcoming works at Laratinga Wastewater Recovery Plant site commencing 20 May 2026.

Early morning works are scheduled at the new Laratinga Wastewater Recovery Plant along Springs Road, with a series of concrete pours planned over the coming weeks. The first pour was on Wednesday, 20 May (weather permitting), with additional pours continunuing into July, commencing from around 5:00am on each day. The next pour is scheduled for Wednesday 29 July 2026.

During these works, concrete trucks will access the site via Springs Road, travelling on the road that leads behind St Francis de Sales College, the Environment Services Centre, Laratinga Pavilion and the Community Shed. Increased construction traffic can be expected, particularly during morning school drop-off times and throughout the day.

Noise will be minimised wherever practicable, and overall impacts are expected to be low. We appreciate the community’s patience as we deliver this important upgrade.
