Notice of works - creek crossing works

Works will be undertaken this Saturday, 4 April 2026 within the creek crossing work zone located between the new Laratinga Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Secker Road industrial park.

These activities involve backfilling and removal of the cofferdam previously installed to enable safe completion of this stage of the Eastern Sewer Trunk Main works. 

Undertaking these works on Saturday allows the team to safely progress ahead of forecast rainfall. Rain events can significantly increase water flows through the creek, which can impact worker safety, environmental controls, and the overall construction program. Completing this work now helps minimise these risks and avoid potential delays.

 What to expect:

• Work hours: Saturday, 4 April 2026 from 7am to 5pm 
• Activity limited to the creek crossing works behind the industrial park 
• Some noise from construction equipment during working hours
