Essential Works Underway: Springs Road Mount Barker

Construction has commenced on Stage 1 of the Laratinga Water Recovery Plant - watch for trucks on Springs Road, Mount Barker.

Construction has commenced on Stage 1 of the Laratinga Water Recovery Plant. During this period, you’ll notice increased heavy vehicle movements along Springs Road, between the Springs Road Wastewater Treatment Plant and the access track east of the St Francis De Sales school oval. This activity is due to the transfer of clean soil material to the site and will continue throughout the build. 

To keep the area safe and reduce dust, our contractor is implementing dust suppression measures, including watering and other controls.

Please stay alert when driving, walking, or using nearby facilities, and exercise caution around the haulauge route.
